Welcome to Devyn's Divine Desserts!!
Making the world sweeter, one dessert at a time:
Hi, I'm Devyn! What I love most isn't just baking- it's the joy it brings. Seeing a child's eyes light up when they see their birthday cake, or watching a bride beam as her Pinterest-inspired wedding cake comes to life, is indescribable. I even have a customer deployed overseas who still sends orders of cake-balls to his wife and daughter. I feel so honored to be a part of moments like these, near or far.
Baking started as a creative outlet for a 15 year old girl with too much time inside. Today, it's a six-year journey filled with connection, community, and a lot of frosting. Every cake, cupcake, and chocolate covered strawberry is an opportunity to make someone's day a little sweeter.
My Story:
Devyn's Divine Desserts started as a hobby when I was 15, the summer before my sophomore year of high school. Like so many in 2020, I was stuck inside scrolling Instagram and YouTube. I'd watch videos of people decorating cakes and couldn't look away- they were mesmerizing. And in that moment, I thought, I could do that too.
I bought a few icing tips, a couple cake pans (all we had before was a 9x13 brownie pan) and started practicing. At first, my cakes were far from perfect. I baked for friends and family, learning with every swirl of icing. Slowly, I got better, and when I began sharing my creations online, people started to notice. Orders followed, and just like that, a passion turned into a business.
Now, six years later, I have the incredible privilege of creating desserts for hundreds of returning customers- some of which have trusted me to make their kids' birthday cakes every year since the very beginning. I also get to meet new people all the time, helping them bring their sweetest ideas to life.
